Quick Summary (please see above titles for more accurate information):
St James Software creates a suite of applications for the Industrial automation field. These products include a data historian (data logger) and electronic logbooks.
In particular, we produce a cost effective and rugged data logger (historian) that stores massive amounts of information efficiently in standard databases like SQL Server, MS Access and Oracle. The information is collected from the field via OPC servers. Multiple OPC servers may be linked in to the system to create a complete database. We also provide cost effective data browsers that can work in client server mode or as a web server using Apache. We also provide a free interface via a spreadsheet to the historical data. Finally, there is a data roll up facility which enables historical data to be collected from multiple sites and centralized in a data warehouse.
Our range of electronic logbooks are extremely powerful and flexible. In addition to a general operator logbook and industrial shift report, we also provide a knowledge book, order book and various other applications specifically configured for our end users. Our logbooks are web enabled and have been proven in the industrial environment. The web server communicates with multiple (up to 500 or more) zero client computers. we also support multiple languages and provide a rich level of industrial functionality. A custom facility allows the users to further extend the application. There is also a rich portfolio of technical papers that discuss the application of these electronic logbooks.
